Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in weight by suppressing the enlargement of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A block moving mechanism 3 of an internal combustion engine 100 includes: one control shaft 30 which extends in parallel with a crank shaft 10, is supported by one of a crank case 1 and a cylinder block 2, and has a main shaft portion 30a and an eccentric portion 30b having an axis at a position eccentric from the axis of the main shaft portion 30a by predetermined amount; a coupling member 31 which is attached to the eccentric portion 30b at one end portion, is attached to the other of the crank case 1 and the cylinder block 2 at the other end, and couples the control shaft 30 and the other of the crank case 1 and the cylinder block 2; and an actuator 32 which rotates the control shaft 30 in both directions within a rotary range, and rocks the axis of the eccentric portion 30b in a relative moving direction of the cylinder block 2 about the axis of the main shaft portion 30a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
