Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A portion corresponding to a cylinder head and a portion corresponding to a cylinder block are integrally formed in an engine block 2 of an internal combustion engine 1. A cylinder 5, a water jacket 6 surrounding a periphery of the cylinder 5, and an oil drop passage 7 having a circular cross section and guiding oil in an upper part of the engine block 2 to an oil pan 4 in a lower part of the engine block 2 are integrally formed in the engine block 2. The oil drop passage 7 is positioned in the outside of the water jacket 6, and is positioned between the cylinders 5, 5 in a cylinder row direction. The oil drop passage 7 is formed in such a manner that a position along an engine block width direction is partially overlapped with the water jacket 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
