Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in the weight of an internal combustion engine, and to suppress a load of an actuator.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 100 equipped with a cylinder block 2 capable of relatively moving to a crank case 1, includes: a block moving mechanism disposed on only one of right and left sides of the internal combustion engine 100; guide walls 40 provided on the right and left sides of the crank case 1; and sliders 41 attached to the guide walls 40. The block moving mechanism includes one control shaft 30 which has a main shaft portion and an eccentric portion; a coupling member for coupling the control shaft 30 and the cylinder block 2; and an actuator for rotating the control shaft 30. The slider 41 is equipped with a first slider 41a and a second slider 41b, and the control shaft 30 has an axis P3 of the main shaft portion positioned at a center position between the first slider 41a and the second slider 41b in a relative moving direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
