Abstract:
To provide a practical internal combustion engine which can promote vaporization of fuel.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 100 includes a fuel injection valve 28 which injects fuel into an intake pipe 12 of the internal combustion engine 100, an intake valve 14 provided between the intake pipe 12 and a combustion chamber, a fuel pump 22 which supplies the fuel to the fuel injection valve 28, and a valve seat part 30 which heats the fuel within a fuel supply passage in the intake pipe 12. The valve seat part 30 is constituted by combining a cylindrical valve seat member 40 onto which the intake valve 14 seats and an annular heater 42 coaxially and internally included in the valve seat member 40. The valve seat part 30 is built in a lower end of the intake pipe 12 from a side of the combustion chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
