Abstract:
To provide an internal combustion engine capable of reducing loss during operation.SOLUTION: When the pressure rise in a combustion chamber C1 in a compression stroke causes rotational drive of a preceding rotor PR, a movement amount and a rotor width W of the preceding rotor PR are set so that at a position with a predetermined diameter centered on the center of rotation of the preceding rotor PR and a following rotor FR, a movement amount of the preceding rotor PR until the following rotor FR reaches an original position OP before the start of movement of the preceding rotor PR is larger than the rotor width W of the preceding rotor PR.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
