Title:
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2021179197
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To favorably secure the thermosensitivity of a water temperature sensor even if the water temperature sensor is arranged in a region in which cooling water is stagnated in a specific flow passage state, related to an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine comprises a water jacket which is formed at a cylinder head, in which cooling water circulates, and which includes at least a first cooling water outlet and a second cooling water outlet which are opened stepwise according to a temperature of the cooling water as outlets of the cooling water, and a water temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of the cooling water which flows in the water jacket. The water temperature sensor is arranged in a region of the water jacket in which the cooling water is stagnated in a specific flow passage state that the first cooling water outlet is opened, and the second cooling water outlet is closed. The water jacket comprises a guide wall for drifting a flow of the cooling water toward the water temperature sensor in the specific flow passage state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
