Abstract:
To provide an internal combustion engine capable of optimizing combustion.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine has a spark plug provided in a central portion of a ceiling of a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine, an injector provided in the central portion of the ceiling for injecting fuel into the combustion chamber, an intake valve provided in the internal combustion engine, and an exhaust valve provided in the internal combustion engine. From one side of the internal combustion engine to an opposite side, the exhaust valve, the spark plug, the injector and the intake valve are arranged in this order. The injector sprays the fuel in a plurality of directions, and an angle between the spray closest to the exhaust valve among the plurality of sprays and the exhaust valve is 21° to 34°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
