Abstract:
To provide a new configuration capable of contributing to downsizing an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine E according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an engine body B compartmentalized into a common intake section 30 which is common to a plurality of cylinders 16 and a plurality of intake branch sections 34 which are branched from a downstream side of the common intake section and extended in a gap between combustion chambers 24 respectively corresponding to the intake branch sections and the common intake section; a throttle body 14 which is connected to the engine body and compartmentalized into an intake passage 14a communicating with the common intake section; and a plurality of injectors 28 which are connected to the engine body and arranged so as to inject fuel into the combustion chambers of the corresponding cylinders respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
