Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine in which uneven distribution of fuel mixture concentration at a combustion chamber can be restricted and the rate of unburned fuel components can be restricted.SOLUTION: This invention provides an internal combustion engine comprising: a cylinder head having a combustion chamber 30, a first intake port 372 arranged at the cylinder head, corresponding to first intake valve 11; a second intake port 373 arranged at the cylinder head, corresponding to a second intake valve 12; a first injector 41 corresponding to the first intake port 372; and the second injector 42 corresponding to the second intake port 373. The first intake valve 11 has a first shaft part 111, the second intake valve 12 has a second shaft part 121, and in at least one of the first intake port 372 and the second intake port 373, injection axial lines T, U of the first injector 41 or the second injector 42 are arranged outside in an arrangement direction of the intake valve rather than the first shaft part 111 or the second shaft part 121 in a top plan view of the cylinder head.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
