Abstract:
To provide an internal combustion engine which enables heating of a vaporizer and cooling of an EGR gas to be achieved with a simple structure and enables the vaporizer to be heated quickly at the start-up.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 100 includes: a vaporizer 33; an exhaust bypass passage 51; and an exhaust gas recirculation passage 52. The vaporizer 33 vaporizes fuel gas in a liquefied state. The exhaust bypass passage 51 supplies a part of exhaust gas generated when the fuel gas is burned for heating of the vaporizer 33. The exhaust gas recirculation passage 52 re-circulates the exhaust gas cooled by heating the evaporator 33 to the suction side as EGR gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
