Title:
INTERNAL MOTIVE ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5623501
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To generate motive force by connecting a cylinder and a piston with a piston rod in such a way that the center axes of the pressure receiving surface of piston and the piston pin will not intersect each other. CONSTITUTION:A working substance 8 applies a force F1 to cylinder 1 and another force F2 to piston 3. Pushed by the force F2, the piston 3 works on a piston pin 5, where the force diverges into F3 and F4. The force F3 acts on the piston rod 4 and further on the cylinder 1 through a joint pin 6 while the force F4 pushes the cylinder 1 through the piston pin 5 and the piston 3. Accordingly, a rotary motion is performed by the force F4 with the joint pin 6 as axis. The piston 3, being applied with the force F2, makes a combined motion of F3 and F4 as the total. The force F1 applied to the cylinder changes its direction, in case F3 and F4 are applied to the piston pin 5, into the one shown by F5 in the figure, so that the whole makes a rotary motion with the pin 6 as axis.
