Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal pump for securing a required motor cooling water flow rate by suppressing the decrease in a motor cooling water flow rate due to the installation of a fly wheel. SOLUTION: An internal pump is provided with a pump shaft 5 that is provided through the bottom surface of a reactor pressure container 1, an impeller 6 that is fixed to the pump shaft 5, a wet motor part 4 for rotating and driving the pump shaft 5, upper and lower radial bearings 13a and 13b being provided at the upper and lower portions of the wet motor part 4, respectively, a flywheel 20 that is fixed to the pump shaft 5 between the wet motor part 4 and the upper radial bearing 13a, and an auxiliary impeller 11b for generating the flow of motor cooling water toward an upper portion at the lower portion of the wet motor part 4. In the internal pump, a plurality of water passage holes 20a for circulating motor cooling water are provided in the flywheel 20 nearly in parallel with the pump shaft 5.
