To provide an Internet phone system capable of easily realizing emergency line connection using an IP line by providing a function of an emergency call originating device.

The Internet phone system includes: an IP call receiving/originating means connected to an IP call termination device for originating a call to a general telephone line and receiving a call from the general line; a call connecting means for connecting the IP call receiving/originating device and the general telephone line; an emergency call originating device which receives the IP address of a connection request source and its location information when an emergency line is discriminated, and transferring them to an IP repeater to connect to a closest emergency call destination; and an IP phone number identifying means that discriminates the IP address contained in a connection request from each IP calling device, and sends the location information of the connection request source to the emergency call originating device if the IP address is an IP address of the emergency line, or sending the connection request to an IP phone call connection server if the IP address is an ordinary IP address other than that of the emergency line.
