PURPOSE: To obtain a skin external preparation containing extracts of a plant of the genus Anthyllis of Leguminosae as active ingredients and having excellent effect on pigmentation after sunburn, stain, ephelis, chloasma, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This skin external preparation contains extracts of a plant of the genus Anthyllis of Leguminosae as active ingredients in an amount of 0.005-20wt.% as a dried material based on total amount of cosmetics. This extract is obtained by immersing or heat-refluxing leaves and stems or whole grass of Anthyllis together with an extracting solvent and filtering the extract and concentrating the filtrate. The preparation can be prepared in an agent type of a solubilizing system such as lotion, an emulsification system such as milk lotion or cream or foundation, dispersion or two-layer type lotion. This skin preparation is excellent also in safety.
