To provide an intra-lumen artificial organ transporting assembly for transplanting of an intra-lumen artificial organ into the intra-lumen of the body of a mammal and a method therefor.
A first transporting member 2 has an artificial organ coupler. This artificial organ coupler is adapted to be attachably and detachably engaged with the artificial organ during the transportation to a desired position and to transplant the artificial organ by opening in the desired position. A second transporting member 3 has an anchoring member 35 for fixing this second transporting member remotely to the desired position in the lumen in the body for the purpose of prosthesis of a stent. The first transporting member is slidably advanced on the outer side of the second transporting member before the artificial organ is positioned to the desired position after the second transporting member is anchored. The anchoring member along the second transporting member by this assembly is adapted to be engaged with the lumen wall in the body by whether a dilatable member, such as a balloon 2, or use of suction or other mechanical members, etc.
