Title:
INTRA-ROOT CANAL TREATING MEANS AND NEEDLE-LIKE BODY USED FOR THE INTRA-ROOT CANAL TREATING MEANS AS WELL AS HOLDER FOR THE SAME AND ITS HOUSING CONTAINER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2532336
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To hold or detach the intra-root canal treating means without allowing the doctor's finger head, etc., to touch cotton and to prevent the pull off of the cotton into the root canal by forming the intra-root canal treating means of a needle-like body inserted with the cotton at its front end and a holding part capable of freely attachably and detachably holding the needle-like body.
CONSTITUTION: This intra-root canal treating means is composed of the holding part 2, a connecting part 3 mounted in the holding part 2 and the needle-like body 4 attachably and detachably mounted on the connecting part 3. The fitting hole 7 capable of inserting and fitting a sticking shaft 6 of the holding part 2 is formed on the connecting part 3. The other end side of the connecting part 3 is formed with a fitting hole 8 capable of inserting and holding an insertion shaft 9 of the needle-like body 4. The needle-like body 4 is composed of the insertion shaft 9 and a needle-like fine wire shaft 10. The compressed cotton 5 is hygienically inserted to the needle-like fine wire shaft 10 by the compression effect of an inserting machine so as to enclose the circumference of the detaining part at the front end of the needle-like fine wire shaft 10. As a result, the doctor's finger head, etc., do not touch the part of the cotton in direct contact with the biotissues at all at the time of the intra-root canal treatment and, therefore, the patient's secondary infection is prevented.
