PURPOSE: To obtain the subject intraocular-lowering drug containing a pyridazinone derivative as the active component and useful for remedy of glaucoma.
CONSTITUTION: A compound of the formula (R1 is H, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; H2 is H, lower alkyl, halogen, nitro or carboxyl; R3 is amino, mono- or di-substituted amino or heterocycle; A and B are lower alkylene, X is -NH- or -CH2-) or a salt thereof is blended in the objective drug as the active component. The compound of the formula is suitably blended with a conventional medical carrier, a conventional vehicle, etc., in an amount of 0.01-10wt.%, preferably 0.1-5wt.% and prepared into a dosage form such as solution, suspension, gel, ointment or solid insertion material. The dosage is 0.001-50mg, preferably 0.01-20mg per 1 kg weight. As the compound of the formula, 6-(3-chloro-4-[N-(2- morphorinoethyl)carbamoylmethoxy]phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-3(2H)-pyridazinone is exemplified.
