Abstract:
To provide an intraoral light irradiation device which facilitates inexpensive mass production owing to a simple structure and is suited for treatment and prevention of periodontal disease.SOLUTION: The device comprises a light guide plate 1 which comprises: a pair of opposed face plate parts 2 formed in the shape of an arch along a human dentition; and a light incident part 31 which makes UV light incident between the face plate parts 2. Each face plate part 2 has: an arch-shaped arrangement area 21 inserted and held between the upper and lower teeth in the oral cavity; and a light emitting area 22 formed on the inner peripheral or outer peripheral side of the arrangement area 21 to emit UV light inside the face plate parts 2 to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
