A device for use in endovascular aortic repair comprising: an outer frame (216, 416), wherein the outer frame is formed from a metallic material; an inner frame (218) that houses a valve (32); wherein the inner frame (218) forms a tubular stent (244) formed from a polymeric material; wherein the inner frame (218) is secured to the outer frame (216, 416) by a plurality of stitches; wherein fibers are attached to at least a proximal section (220) of the outer frame (216, 416), wherein the fibers are configured to aid in preventing paravalvular leaks.
