Abstract:
To provide an inversion prevention device which can be easily attached between a top face of an article and a ceiling.SOLUTION: A damper 10 of an inversion prevention device 1 is attached between a top face of furniture F and a ceiling C, generates attenuation force and generates energization force in an extension direction. A second base part 30B is coupled to an end part of the damper 10 positioned on the ceiling C side and contacts the ceiling C. A rotation of a pin 45 to the second base part 30B is suppressed, and the pin couples the second base part 30B as a rotary shaft to the damper 10, to the damper 10. When a compression band 90 is engaged to the pin 45 and the damper 10 is held in a prescribed shrunk state, friction force is generated between the compression band 90 and the pin 45 based on energization force of the damper 10 and rotation of the second base part 30B to the damper 10 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
