To provide an invert of a manhole securing smooth flow of sewage by preventing a sewage passage from becoming inconveniently uneven even if an earthquake or the like causes relative displacement between a sewer and the manhole.

In the invert 10 of the manhole 1, a sewer 2 is connected at an end 21 to a connection hole 13 provided in a sidewall 11 of the manhole 1 and a flow passage which smoothly continues with the end 21 is formed in the bottom of the manhole 11. The invert comprises a concrete invert 3 placed at the bottom with a predetermined gap 4 provided to the end face 22 of the sewer 2, and a telescopic gutter 5 which is installed in the gap 4 to smoothly connect the concrete invert 3 to the end 21 of the sewer 2.
