Abstract:
To provide an inverted actuator inertia detection device that ensures stability, removing offset or drift of an inertial sensor such as an acceleration sensor, gyro sensor and the like.SOLUTION: An outer frame 2 and inner frame 3 are provided, and an inertia detection unit 4 is provided that detects a tilt and rotation of the inner frame. The inner frame is rotatably supported by the outer frame via a first shaft 5, and the inertia detection unit is rotatably supported by the inner frame via a second shaft 7 orthogonal to the first shaft. A first encoder 12 detects a rotation angle between the outer frame and inner frame in the first shaft, and a second encoder 17 detects a rotation angle between the inner frame and inertia detection unit in the second shaft. A computation processing unit is configured to: actuate so that the inertia detection unit is kept horizontal, cause the inertia detection unit to be inverted 180 degrees at least once or perform an inverted operation in single rotation on the basis of outputs of respective encoders; and detect a tilt and rotation on the basis of detection signals the pre-and-post inverted inertia detection unit outputs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
