To make an antenna small-sized, to facilitate the designing and manufacture of mobile radio equipment by reducing electric coupling with other members, and to make the antenna multipurpose by using an inverted E-type antenna which has its open end bent toward a center arm.
An antenna constituted in E-type molded metal plate or rigid metal wire structure by bending both ends along the edge of a printed board with a curved outward shape is arranged and the center arm is grounded. The arm at one end is connected to a radio-frequency supply part, and the arm at the other end open part is bent toward the center arm. Consequently, the antenna is made small-sized, without reducing the antenna length and provided not in parallel to the ground plane of a shield container and at an interval, and the detuning of the antenna due to the effects of the shield container is eliminated to obtain stable resonance characteristic.
