Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted moving body that even when a load other than an occupant is applied to the inverted moving body, can be suppressed from operating unexpectedly.SOLUTION: An inverted moving body 1 comprises: a vehicle main body part 11; a step part 14 that can be inclined in a pitch direction, and on which an occupant P puts the foot when boarding a vehicle; a distance measurer 13 that measures a distance L between the occupant P and the vehicle main body part 11; a velocity detection sensor that detects velocity V of the inverted moving body 1; and a control part that when magnitude of the detected velocity V is less than a threshold v1, performs control, until the distance L becomes equal to a distance L2 or more and equal to a distance L1 or less, so that a target angle in the pitch direction of the step part 14 is inclined in a minus direction when the distance L is larger than the distance Ll and the target angle is inclined in a plus direction when the distance L is less than the distance L2 (L1>L2), and when the distance L becomes equal to the distance L2 or more and equal to the distance L1 or less, sets the target angle to a target angle at the time when the distance L becomes equal to the distance L2 or more and equal to the distance L1 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
