Abstract:

To provide an inverted pendulum type moving body which can prevent the inverted state of the moving body from becoming unstable when lowering an auxiliary wheel.

Auxiliary wheel devices 21, 22 having auxiliary legs 21b, 22b are arranged in the front and rear in an advancing direction of a carriage body 10, and respectively provided with motors 23, 24 for adjusting lifting angles of the auxiliary legs 21b, 22b and motors 29, 30 for adjusting the expanding and contracting quantity and/or expanding and contracting speed. In this way, the expanding and contracting quantity and/or expanding and contracting speed of respective auxiliary legs 21b, 22b can be independently adjusted.
