Abstract:

To provide a small and inexpensive inverter apparatus while current capacity is secured and to provide an air conditioning machine using the inverter apparatus.

The inverter apparatus includes a diode module 1 rectifying inputted AC voltage to DC voltage, a capacitor 3 charged with DC voltage rectified by the diode module 1, a relay 4 controlling connection of the diode module 1 and the capacitor 3, a reactor 5 which is connected in series between the relay 4 and the capacitor 3, and an inverter 2 driving a load based on both end voltages of the capacitor 3. In the inverter apparatus, a plurality of combinations of the relays 4 and the reactors 5, which are connected in series, are arranged in parallel.
