Abstract:

To provide an inverter apparatus where a controller can specify the cause of stoppage.

This apparatus includes an inverter circuit, which is connected to a DC power supply, a control circuit, which outputs an AC of frequency directed by a controller from the inverter circuit, a control circuit power supply, which outputs a voltage for the control circuit to the control circuit, and a temperature detector, which detects the temperature of the power supply for the control circuit. The power supply for the control circuit includes a temperature protective function which stops its output at a predetermined temperature, and the control circuit transmits the signal that the temperature of the power supply for the control circuit has come near to predetermined temperature to the controller, when the temperature detected by the temperature detector goes up and comes near to the predetermined temperature.
