This inverter circuit device includes a switching circuit 9 consisting of a plurality of switching devices in an inverter circuit, and a control circuit 1 for generating a control signal which is inputted in a driver circuit 2 and controls a load. A temperature detection element 12 for detecting a temperature change in the inverter circuit is provided in a temperature detection circuit 10. With this constitution, an output is made from one terminal shared for a temperature detection signal changing with a temperature change in the inverter circuit, an overheat signal outputted when the temperature is beyond a predetermined temperature, and an overcurrent signal outputted by an overheat protection FET13.
