Abstract:

To provide an inverter device that can cope with a plurality of direct-current power supplies different in output voltage range.

The inverter device 4 includes: converters 5A to 5D that receive direct-current power from a plurality of solar cell arrays 2A to 2D different in output power range; and an inverter 6 that converts direct-current output from the converters 5A to 5D into alternating-current and causes it to reversely flow to a commercial power system 10. The converters 5A to 5D have different voltage input ranges in correspondence with the output voltage ranges of the solar cell arrays 2A to 2D. On the basis of PFM control signals received from corresponding converter control units, the converters respectively control the output voltages from the solar cell arrays 2A to 2D so as to maximize the output power from the solar cell arrays 2A to 2D.
