Abstract:
To provide an inverter device capable of accurately deducing the input current, even when there are source voltage variations.
The inverter device detects the current flowing into a brushless DC motor 4, detects the output voltage (DC voltage) of a voltage doubler rectifying circuit 2, calculates power consumption of the brushless DC motor 4 from the detected current, deduces the input voltage to the inverter device from the calculated power consumption and the detected voltage and estimates the input current to the inverter device from the deduced input voltage and the calculated power consumption.
