Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate assembly work by using a pin header type connector in connecting a power module to a power substrate circuit, also by providing a positioning pin in the pin header type connector.
CONSTITUTION: In connecting a circuit of a power substrate 11, a pin header type connector 21 is used in a side of a power module 1, to use a receptacle type connector in a side of the power substrate 11. In the pin header type connector 21, a positioning pin 23, inserted to a hole 26 drilled in a printed wiring board 2 of metal base material of mounting this pin header type connector 21, is provided, to provide a positioning hole 24 of fitting the positioning pin 23 in a surface of a radiator 8 of fixing the power module 1. Consequently, soldering work for connecting the power module 1 to the power substrate 11 can be eliminated. Stress applied to a circuit connecting part is canceled by spring property of a contact of the receptacle type connector 22.
