Title:
INVERTER DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3244921
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the breakdown of a semiconductor switching element in an inverter main circuit due to a switching surge even when an overcurrent protective fuse interposed between two or more smoothing capacitors is blown.
CONSTITUTION: An inverter main circuit 5 incorporating a semiconductor switching element is connected between DC power lines 3 and 4 to which the output of an AC power source 2 is outputted after the output is full-wave rectified by means of a converter section 1 and smoothing capacitors 6A and 6B are connected in series between the lines 3 and 4 while an overcurrent protective fuse 7 is interposed between the capacitors 6A and 6B. A controller 11 actuates the inverter circuit 5 through a drive circuit 12 upon receiving an operation commanding signal SC from the outside. A quick-acting fuse 7 is provided with a normally-closed type alarm actuating contact switch 7a which is turned off when the fuse 7 is blown. The switch 7a is connected to a transmission line through which a operation commanding signal SC is transmitted to the controller 11.
