Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a limiting resistor by providing the first limiting means for opening a switch when the state, wherein the current higher than the specified value is conducted through the limiting resistor, is detected by a judging means.
SOLUTION: The DC supplied from a battery 1 is fed to a smoothing capacitor 3 in a state that the current is suppressed by a limiting resistor 5. The current of the smoothing capacitor 3 is detected by a voltage detecting circuit 8, and whether the voltage is less than the specified voltage or not is judged by a controller 9. When it is judged that the voltage is less than the specified voltage, a signal is outputted to a relay driving circuit 6, an exciting current to an exciting coil 7 is stopped, the contact point of a relay 4 is opened and the supply of the DC from the battery 1 is stopped. Therefore, the current of the specified value, for example, the current higher than the specified value is not conducted to the limiting resistor 5, the intrinsic function of the limiting resistor can be maintained and burning can be prevented.
