Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to completely protect against the overcurrent of an induction motor by providing means having counter-timing limiting breaking characteristic matched to the operating frequency of the AC motor at every frequency. CONSTITUTION:A current detected by a current transformer CT5 is fed to a microprocessor 6, and time-integrated by the microprocessor 6. When the current value integrated during this time is coincident to the value applied from an ROM7, the microprocessor 6 interrupts the output of an inverter device 2. An operating frequency is applid to the address of the ROM7, and the value corresponding to the overcurrent withstand amount of an induction motor 4 at every operating frequency stored previously is outputted from the ROM7, thereby accurately protecting against the overcurrent of the motor.
