Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter integrated electric compressor in which efficiency and reliability of an electric motor are improved by eliminating temperature distribution of a refrigerant as a cooling medium.SOLUTION: In the inverter integrated electric compressor 1A formed by integrating an electric motor part 10A having a stator 11 and a rotor 12, a drive circuit part 20 including an inverter for operating the electric motor part 10A, and a compression part rotated by the electric motor part 10A to compress a fluid in a housing 2, a plurality of medium flow passages 8A, 8B, 8C, and 8D arranged in a circumferential direction of the outer periphery of the stator 11 and a groove 7 provided on the inner peripheral face of an electric motor side housing 4 so that the fluid sucked in the compression part and before being compressed is regarded as the cooling medium and flowed to pass in substantially parallel to a main shaft 13 in the inside of the electric motor part 10A. The farther the medium flow passages 8A, 8B, 8C, 8D are from the drive circuit part 20, the smaller the flow passage cross section area are.
