Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise by improving cooling efficiency of a main heat generating component like a semiconductor switching element and reducing the amount of cooling wind.
SOLUTION: A magnetron 4, an inverter power source 3 wherein electric element components such as a semiconductor switching element 12 and a step-up transformer 21 are arranged on a main printed board 2, a cooling fan 5 having an impeller 9 of a centrifugal type, and a diaphragm 18 which isolates fluidly an intake vent 16 of the cooling fan 5 from a discharge vent in the outside of the cooling fan 5, are installed in a case having a plurality of sucking holes and exhausting holes. One end surface of the cooling fan 5 is made the main printed board 2, the impeller 9 is positioned above the main printed board 2, and a scroll-shaped cooling plate 14 whose section has a discontinuous part 13 partially is constituted on the periphery of the impeller 9. The semiconductor switching element 12 is arranged at least on one side out of the outer surface and the inner surface of a side surface of the cooling plate 14, and a fin part 15 is arranged in order to obtain an area of heat-transfer surface.
