Title:
IODINE-LABELED HEPTAPEPTIDE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5718654
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL:A radioactive iodine-labeled heptapeptide expressed by formula I.

USE: A tracer of a peptide expressed by formula II useful for the diagnosis of nervous of digestive tract diseases. The peptide expressed by formula II is a neurotransmitter having salivary secretion, depolarizing, intestinal contracting actions, etc., and the iodine-labeled heptapeptide expressed by formula I is capable of tracing the peptide expressed by formula II specifically in the radioimmunoassay (RIA).

PROCESS: A heptapeptide expressed by formula I is synthesized by the conventional fragment condensing method and stepwise method. The resultant heptapeptide expressed by formula I is labeled with radioactive iodine by the chloramine T method to give the iodine-labeled heptapeptide expressed by formula I. The radioactive iodine is preferably 125I.
