Abstract:
Iodochromone derivatives (I), their geometric and optical isomers and their mixtures, their N-oxides, acid addition salts, and their metal and metalloid complexes, are new. Iodochromone derivatives of formula (I), their geometric and optical isomers and their mixtures, their N-oxides, acid addition salts, and their metal and metalloid complexes, are new. R1 = alkyl, alkenyl, or alkynyl (all optionally substituted); R2 = R3, OR3 or NR3R4; R3 and R4 = H, alkyl, alkenyl, or alkynyl (all optionally substituted. Provided that the iodine atom is in position 5, 6, 7, or 8. An Independent claim is also included for the preparation of (I).
