Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an iodonium compound useful for pentafluorophenylation and a production method of the same, and to develop a production method of an α-pentafluorophenyl ketone derivative using the developed iodonium compound.SOLUTION: An iodonium compound useful for pentafluorophenylation is developed by synthesizing the iodonium compound having a pentafluorophenyl group. In addition, by conducting direct pentafluorophenylation of β-ketoester using the developed iodonium compound as a key reaction, a synthesis of α-pentafluoro-β-ketoester is successful.
