Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion conductivity imparting agent by which, a gas diffusion electrode for a solid polymer furl cell, using an electrolyte film as a hydrocarbon group negative ion exchange film, having good ion conductivity at the inside of the electrode, enabled to join with the electrolyte film with sufficient strength, enabled to stably use for long time, can be formed. SOLUTION: For example, a hydrocarbon group polymerized elastomer, or a solution of the same, or a suspension of the same, having a structure like a stylene group thermoplastic elastomer in which, negative ion exchanging group is introduced, hardly soluble in water and methanol, are used as the ion conductivity imparting agent for gas diffusion electrode.
