To increase an efficiency that ion mists come to user in an ion dryer composed of a cold/hot air outlet for ejecting at least cold air or hot air to the user and an ion outlet for emitting the ion mists.
As shown in Fig. 7 (a), in a conventional technique in which the axial line 6a' of the cold/hot air outlet 6' and the axial line 11a' of the ion outlet 11 are in parallel to each other, ion mist formed by an electrostatic atomizer 12' is arrested at the upper part of a resin-molded main body housing 4', particularly, on the outer periphery of a nozzle 26', rebounding the succeeding ion mist or ion and preventing it from reaching the user. In contrast, as shown in fig. 7 (b), structuring the axial lines 6a, 11a in a manner receding from each other suppresses the arrest of the ion mist, allowing the ion mists formed in the electrostatic atomizer 12 to come to the user with high efficiency.
