Abstract:
Oxide bodies having both ionic and electronic conductivity consist of 98 to 25 mol % of cubic or tetragonal ZrO2, 1.5 to 25 mol % of an oxide stabilising the ZrO2 phase and 0.5 to 50 mol % of at least one oxide of a metal from groups Va and VIa of the periodic table of the elements or/and titanium dioxide. These bodies are outstandingly suitable as electrode material for oxygen transfer reactions.
