Title:
ION ELUTION UNIT AND WASHING MACHINE WITH THE SAME MOUNTED THEREON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3953381
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an user to recognize situation by being informed of natural decrease of an electrode in an ion elution unit which elutes metallic ions in holding water for antibacterial treatment of the wash.
SOLUTION: The ion elution unit 110 mounted on a washing machine 1 has electrodes 113 and 114. A constant current circuit 125 of a driving circuit 120 impresses voltage to the electrodes 113 and 114 and thereby metallic ions are eluted from the electrode being an anode among the electrodes 113 and 114. A voltage detection circuit 162 monitors voltage impressed to the electrodes and thereby natural decrease of the electrodes 113 and 114 is grasped. Further a current detection circuit 160 monitors current flowing between the electrodes and thereby natural decrease of the electrodes 113 and 114 is grasped. Further, natural decrease of the electrodes 113 and 114 is detected by a transmission type light sensor 173 provided at the ion elution unit 100. It is reported by a warning informing means 131 that the electrodes 113 and 114 are worn to a life limit.
