To provide an ion emission device which can be easily embedded in a toilet seat device at low cost and a toilet seat device in which this ion emission device is embedded.
An ion emission device 20 uses a drying device which is embedded in a toilet seat device 10 having a toilet seat 12, the drying device comprising a fan 21 and a duct 22 which extends in an exhaust side of this fan 21 with a ventilator aperture 23 disposed on a leading end thereof, the drying device driving the fan 21 and ventilating from the ventilator aperture 23 toward the gluteal parts of a person who is seated upon the toilet seat 12. This ion emission device 20 further comprises an ion emission device 25 which is positioned at the intake side of the fan 21, and discharges ions toward the intake side of this fan 21.
