PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion exchange apparatus provided with a flow channel switching valve which easily forms flow channels in each step, can make a water volume large, has a simple structure, and facilitates assembling and maintenance.SOLUTION: An ion exchange apparatus 2 is provided with a pressure tank 3 accommodating an ion exchange resin floor therein, a flow channel switching valve 1, and a control section 150. The flow channel switching valve 1 has a plurality of valves, and cam shafts for operating the respective valves provided in a lateral direction on a valve housing 5. The plurality of valves are arranged so that a first valve group and a second valve group are divided into positions in front and rear directions across the cam shaft. The first valve group has a first water passing valve 6, a second water passing valve 7, and a bypass valve 8 arranged side by side. A regeneration valve 12 is included in any one of the first and second valve groups. The second valve group has remaining valves, which are not included in the first valve group, arranged side by side. The control section 150 outputs a command signal for switching between a water passing operation and a regeneration operation to the flow channel switching valve 1, and makes the flow channel switching valve 1 generate a split flow of the ion exchange resin floor.
