Abstract:
To provide a novel material that can stably hold an ionic chemical agent and be suitably adopted as a chemical agent holder for a sustained release system.
In an ion exchange membrane-including crosslinked hydrous polymer 10 in which an ion exchange membrane 12 is contained in a crosslinked hydrous polymer 14, an ionic chemical agent is held in the ion exchange membrane 12, and the stable release of the chemical agent is made possible by making the agent flexible as a result of swelling due to an aqueous medium when put on a surface of the skin or an eyeball.
