Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion exchange column which can disperse and supply a water to be treated uniformly to an ion exchanger layer even when a space of a tower body top part is small.SOLUTION: A water to be treated is supplied to a tower body 2 from a water supply inlet 5 and passes through a water spray casing 8, a straightening vane 7, an ion exchange resin layer 3, and a water collection plate 4, then the water to be treated is taken out from an output port 6. Multiple openings 9 are provided on a side peripheral wall 8a and a bottom face 8b of the water spray casing 8. The water flow resistance of the bottom face 8b is 1.5-8-fold the water flow resistance of the side peripheral wall surface 8a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
