Abstract:

To provide an ion-exchangeable fiber sheet having high ion-exchange capacity, and further to provide a method for producing the ion-exchangeable fiber sheet.

This ion-exchangeable fiber sheet includes an ion-exchangeable fiber obtained by graft-polymerizing at least one of a monomer having an ion exchange group, an oligomer derived from the monomer having the ion exchange group, and a polymer derived from the monomer having the ion exchange group on an ethylenic fiber of which at least a part of the fiber surface is occupied by an ethylene copolymer comprising at least one kind selected from the group consisting of an unsaturated carboxylic acid, a derivative of the unsaturated carboxylic acid, and an unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride, and ethylene, and having ≥5 mass% acid component proportion. The method for producing the ion-exchangeable fiber sheet is also provided.
