Abstract:
To provide an analysis method for an ion exchanger which does not generate toxic gases by mixing mineral acid used as eluate and organic solvent or does not mix the organic solvent with the eluate in analyzing an adsorption state of an ionic foreign matter of an ion exchanger layer used for refining the organic solvent.SOLUTION: An analysis method for an ion exchanger has: a pretreatment step which replaces the organic solvent to be refined remaining in the ion exchanger layer with pure water after a refining step that passes organic solvent to be refined in an ion exchanger layer formed by an ion exchanger and refines the organic solvent to be refined; an ion exchanger extraction step extracting from the ion exchanger layer an ion exchanger; and an ionic foreign matter analysis step which eludes an ionic impurity adsorbed by the extracted ion exchanger and analyzes concentration of the ionic impurity in the eluate so as to determine a quantity of the ionic impurity adsorbed by the ion exchanger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
