PURPOSE: To obtain simple peripheral circuits and a small-size device by forming a drive IC for controlling a corona ion flow and an ion flow recording means as an integral part.

CONSTITUTION: On a ceramic substrate, a solid precharger 31, a solid ion flow head 45, and a low-voltage drive IC part 57 are provided. The solid precharger 31 is provided with a corona ion generation electrode 5. In this manner, the drive IC 57 is provided on the conventional solid ion flow head 45. In this manner, small-size peripheral circuits can be accomplished. On the other hand, by integrally forming the solid ion flow head 45 and a solid discharger, the number of component parts disposed on the periphery of a recording medium drum can be reduced. Thus, the recording drum can be made small in bore diameter, a device can be made small in size, and the reduction of the number of component parts results in an improved maintenance. The integral structure of the solid precharger 31 and the low-voltage ion flow head realizes a low-cost drive part and small-size peripheral circuits.
